At a jam packed press conference, newly elected Democrat representative, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has doubled down on her promise to offer free healthcare to all Americans and illegal immigrants now living in the United States.  The self-proclaimed Democrat-Socialist became a media sensation since her upset victory over Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY), the long term Democrat incumbent.

Since her victory Ms. Ocasio-Cortez has made numerous appearances on liberal outlets like MSNBC, CNN and a number of late-night talk shows.  On a number of occasions Ms. Ocasio-Cortez has made the single-payer healthcare version of ‘Obamacare/Medicare’ a cornerstone of her efforts.  She is quoted as saying, “I believe that every American should have stable, dignified housing; health care; education – that the most very basic needs to sustain modern life should be guaranteed in a moral society.”  She continued to declare, “That is why I will be sponsoring legislation in conjunction with Google to be named the ‘Google/Ocasio-Cortez Free Socialized Medicine/Single Payer Bureaucratic Plan for the American People that will Be Paid for By the Rich and Corporations’, or the GOCFSMSPBPFTAP Bill, as insiders have come to call it.  A spokesman commented, ‘We are thinking of shortening the name so as to save on paper.”

In an interview with CNN, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez expanded on one of her more controversial portions of the bill that would include free OBGYN exams for all men, especially Beta Males with beards and man buns.  She explained to Jake Tapper of CNN, “Google has already determined that men do menstruate and even have put tampons in men’s rooms throughout their company’s offices.  It is in this spirit that I am expanding the scope of the bill to include free OBGYN exams for men, especially beta males, who already have lost their testicles.”

When Ms. Ocasio-Cortex, who holds a degree in economics from Boston University, appeared on CNN, she was told that Medicare, of the kind she advocated, could cost about $32.6 trillion over its first 10 years.  To this revelation, her response was, “Are you kidding me?  It can’t possible cost that much, but even if it did we can do what we were taught at Boston University, just tax the crap out of everyone!”

At this juncture, CNN’s Jake Tapper was forced to reveal that studies conducted by leftist groups show the cost of Medicare for everyone would actually total nearly $40 trillion over the same period.  He also noted that the Ocasio-Cortez’s plan to increase taxes on the wealthy and corporations to pay for the idea would only cover about $2 trillion, Tapper noted.  Ocasio-Cortez proudly responded, “People often say, how are you gonna pay for it? And I find the question so puzzling because, how do you pay for something that’s more affordable? How do you pay for cheaper rent? How do you pay for—you just pay for it.”

In this far-reaching interview with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the discussion turned to the employment. Tapper had to admit that the unemployment figures under the Trump presidency are at or near historic lows, especially for African-Americans, Hispanics and women.

Ocasio-Cortez seemed to dismiss this by stating, “Unemployment is low because people are working 60, 70, 80 hours a week and can barely feed their kids.”  There was a pause in the interview where Ms. Ocasio-Cortez seems to be gathering her thoughts.  She then responds to Tapper by saying, “How can people qualify for welfare and social services if they are working?  This seems counter-productive to me. Just let voters get enough of the free things that we Democrat-Socialists will be giving them out and all will be well…trust me.”

Tapper seems a little more confused than usual so he decides to move on.  “You have been criticized by many in the media for having banned the press from your listening tour.  What do you have to tell our hundreds of viewers of what many feel are your gestapo-like tactics.”

“Jake, I resent the use of the term ‘gestapo-like’.  This should be reserved for when we discuss Donald Trump.  I was creating a sanctuary space catching up on how this became a thing while I was gone. Biggest critique is it should‘ve been labeled “private,” even though we’d said prior it was closed to press. As you know, safe-spaces are truly wonderful areas where many college student snowflakes find comfort and rescue from the stress of life.  As a matter of fact I am scheduled to appear at the ribbon cutting ceremony when UC Berkeley opens its new 150,000 square foot expansion of the existing 60,000 square foot safe space for snowflake students.”

Jake tapper says, “Uh?”

“What I’m trying to say Jake is Well, I think a lot of it has to do with changing our strategy around governance. You know there’s a lot of inside baseball and inside the beltway as you, you always hear that term thrown around. But there are very few organizers in Congress. And I do think that organizers operate differently. It’s a different kind of strategy. And what it is, is really about organizing and, and really thinking about that word: organizing. Segmenting people…being strategic in their actions in really bringing together a cohesive strategy of putting pressure on the chamber instead of only focusing on the pressures inside the chamber.”

Jake tapper concludes the interview by saying, “Uh?”
